Dear Capitol Section Members,

We have some exciting things coming up in our Capitol Section CMEA for this Fall!

Mark your calendars now! Sunday, November 8th will be our Fall In-service at the UC Davis Mondavi Center offering a variety of music education clinics. This will align with the Causeway Youth Festival. For band directors, if you have not signed up for this event, please click here. This is an incredible opportunity for your students to work with composer/conductor Dr. Mark Camphouse and our area's finest, Dr. Robert Halseth and Pete Nowlen.

Our first Honor Jazz Band for high school and middle school: Dr. Steve Roach will be directing the high school and Josh Murray will be directing the middle school ensemble. More details in the near future.
